Bae In Hyuk is confirmed to join the cast of "Why Oh Soo Jae?"
On July 2nd it was confirmed that Bae In Hyuk will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming SBS drama "Why Oh Soo Jae?". The drama will be the collaboration between "While You Were Sleeping" director Park Soo Jin and "Lie After Lie" writer Kim Ji Eun.
Bae In Hyuk's agency Fides Spatium also confirmed the reports about his casting in the new drama.
"Why Oh Soo Jae?" will depict the romance between a law school professor and her student. Seo Hyun Jin will lead the drama as a bad-tempered and cruel professor named Oh Soo Jae.
Bae In Hyuk will play the character of Choi Yoon Sang. He is the the second son of TK law firm Chairman Chey Tae Guk and a sophomore at Seojung University Law School. Oh Soo Jae was his previous private tutor and first love. They will be reunited as a law school professor and student.
"Why Oh Soo Jae?" will have a total of 16 episodes that will air on SBS next year. Hwang In Yeop is also in talks to star in the drama.
Bae In Hyuk is currently starring in two ongoing dramas. He's the handsome senior Gye Sun Woo in the drama "My Roommate Is a Gumiho" with Jang Ki Yong and Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri. He is also one of the main leads of the KBS drama "At a Distance, Spring Is Green." He acts alongside Park Ji Hoon, Kang Min Ah, Kwon Eun Bin, and more in the drama.
The rising actor made his acting debut in the 2019's web movie "Love Buzz." He also appeared in several acting projects such as "The Spies Who Loved Me," "Kiss Goblin," "Was It Love?", "To All The Guys Who Loved Me," and more.
