SBS revealed that Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin will be their next pairing for a new romance K-drama.
On January 23, it was officially confirmed that Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin will be the main leads of the upcoming K-drama Kiss Me for No Reason.
Kiss Me for No Reason will be the collaboration work of director Kim Jae Hyun (One Dollar Lawyer) and writer Ha Yoon Ah (Mystic Pop-Up Bar).
The romance K-drama will reveal the story of a single woman who disguised herself as a mother to land a job and the company's team leader who fell in love with her.
Kiss Me for No Reason is scheduled to premiere within the year. The K-drama will exclusively premiere on SBS with 14 episodes.
Jang Ki Yong will give life to the character named Gong Ji Hyuk. He leads the Mother TF team, a childcare product company. He is smart, cool-headed, and passionate about his job. He falls into a dilemma after Ko Da Rim disappears after they share a kiss.
Aside from Kiss Me for No Reason, Jang Ki Yong will also star in the upcoming series Pig Pen with Cha Seung Won, Park Hee Soon, Roh Jeong Eui, Kim Dae Myung, and Kim Ji An.
Ahn Eun Jin will portray the role of Ko Da Rim. She disguised herself as a married woman and a mother of a child to land a job. She will do everything to secure a full-time job to support her family but when she starts to like Gong Ji Hyuk, it makes her feel confused.
This is also the second upcoming K-drama of Ahn Eun Jin. The actress will also join the Netflix original series All the Love You Wish For led by Kim Woo Bin and miss A's Bae Suzy.
