Kang Mi Na will reportedly reunite with Ji Chang Wook and Seo In Guk in the upcoming superhero K-dra
Kang Mi Na will reportedly join the star-studded cast of Twelve.
On October 2, media outlet OSEN shared that Kang Mi Na will be added to the cast of the upcoming action fantasy K-drama Twelve.
This will also possibly be Kang Mi Na's reunion project with actors Ji Chang Wook and Seo In Guk, who recently received the offer to lead the series. This might also be Kang Mi Na's first official K-drama under Story J Company.
Kang Mi Na's side hasn't responded to the casting reports.
The idol actress officially debuted in 2016 through the project group IOI. In 2017, she also started her acting career.
Kang Mi Na was last seen in the 2023 K-drama Welcome to Samdal-ri wherein she portrayed the role of a young single mom. She worked alongside Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hye Sun, Kim Mi Kyung, Seo Hyun Chul, and Shin Dong Mi. Meanwhile, she worked with Seo In Guk in 2022 through the K-drama Café Minamdang. They also starred together in the singer-actor MV for his track "Fallen."
Aside from Twelve, Kang Mi Na will also star in the upcoming movie Love Untangled. She will star alongside Shin Eun Soo, Gong Myung, Cha Woo Min, and Yoon Sang Hyeon in the new youth romance film.
Twelve will showcase the journey of heroes representing 12 magazines struggling to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits.
Ma Dong Seok, Ji Chang Wook, Sung Dong Il, Lee Joo Bin, and Seo In Guk will lead the upcoming K-drama.
Director Kang Dae Gyu who's known for creating the films Pawn, Harmony, Tidal Wave, and He Was Cool will work on the K-drama. Big Punch Pictures, Novafilm, and Content G will produce the upcoming series.
Meanwhile, Twelve will reportedly premiere in 2025. There is no official confirmation yet on the broadcast channel or the official release date of the upcoming K-drama.
