The main poster for the upcoming JTBC drama King the Land, featuring Lee Jun Ho and Im Yoon Ah, has been unveiled.
The main poster, showcasing a delightful two-shot of Lee Jun Ho (Gu Won) and Im Yoon Ah (portraying Cheon Sa Rang), has been released. Set to premiere on June 17, King the Land is a Saturday-Sunday drama written by Choi Rom, directed by Im Hyun Wook, and produced by Npio Entertainment, By4m Studio, and SLL.
The poster naturally captures the captivating visual chemistry between the two actors, as they fully embody their characters. Lee Jun Ho - donning a business suit - portrays Gu Won's sharp personality with a serious expression, while Im Yoon Ah - adorned in a bright red fur dress- radiates the enchanting smile befitting the "smile queen" Cheon Sa Rang.
Notably, the poster is bathed in a warm ambience, with shimmering lights surrounding the leads. It creates an impression that Gu Won and Cheon Sarang, as if casting spells of happiness, are inviting viewers into the magical world of King the Land. The caption, "The magic of love that will save you," further enhances the anticipation for the sweet synergy between Lee Jun Ho and Im Yoon Ah.
The production team of the K-drama expressed their excitement, stating, "The journey in which Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang, who hail from different worlds, meet and come to understand each other, will provide a magical resonance. So, please look forward to it".
King the Land is a story about a chaebol heir Gu Won, and an ordinary woman Cheon Sa Rang.
Gu Won lives a perfect life of a chaebol heir of King the Land (a VVIP business lounge). Looks, talent, wealth, grace, and charm - there is nothing more he could ask for. But he has an interesting characteristic - he despises fake smiles. Despite having everything, there is one thing Gu Won seeks - his forgotten memories of his mother.
Then there is Cheon Sa Rang. She is a cheerful woman who never lets a smile fade away from her face, which is also the quality her profession demands. She crosses paths with Gu Won and that leads to a bitter-sweet relationship between the duo.
King the Land will premiere on June 17. The K-drama will be available to watch on Netflix.
