Park Min Young will reportedly star in a new comedy K-drama after Marry My Husband.
On July 23, media outlets shared that Park Min Young was selected to lead the upcoming comedy K-drama The Confidence Man KR (working title). It will be the Korean version of the Japanese drama The Confidence Man JP.
Park Min Young's side shared their response about the casting. According to Hook Entertainment, "Park Min Young is reviewing and considering appearing in the K-drama. There is no official confirmation yet."
The Confidence Man KR is a comedy series that will revolve around three credit scammers known as the "Confidence Men." They extort money from people by any means with bad desires such as evil companies, mafia bosses, and more.
There is no confirmation yet on the character that was offered to Park Min Young for the upcoming K-drama.
According to reports, the Korean remake will be the joint work of director Nam Ki Hoon (Big Bet and Destined with You) and writer Hong Seung Hyun (Criminal Minds).
The broadcast date and channel of The Confidence Man KR are still undecided.
If Park Min Young confirms her casting, this will be her follow-up project after the hit tvN K-drama Marry My Husband. She showed great chemistry in the series with other casts Na In Woo, Lee Yi Kyung, Song Ha Yoon, Lee Gi Kwang, and Gong Min Jung.
