I wanted to start another sageuk and this caught my eye the 81 episodes is a bit off putting...has anyone seen this?

Synopsis

Jumong was the founder of Goguryeo in 37 BC. He was the son of General Hae Mo Su and Lady Yoo Hwa, and was raised by King Geum Wa who took him and his mother in when Hae Mo Su was believed to have been killed in an ambush by the Han Dynasty. So Seo No was a merchant's daughter who helped Jumong in realizing his dream to build a new country, and later became his second wife.

wow bokami ok thats a ringing endorsement if ever there was one :D its THAT good then.

I think Jumong is an overrated drama. Yes, I only saw 3 episodes (*gasp*..lol) but I just couldn't submit myself to that torture anymore. It failed to impress me and I don't like wasting my time. I didn't like the way the whole parents story was played out. I didn't see love, all I can compare it to is a teenager's love for an idol and then, she finally meets him. Plus, I didn't like how Song Il Gook acted. Even then, I was skeptical to drop it because I had been wanting to watch something Song JiHyo in it and I love Bae Su Bin. But it had too many strikes in three episodes, I have dropped dramas for less. Again, I wasn't wasting my time on this when I could be watching talented eyecandy.

if jumong is an overrated drama then the princess man for my pov is an overrated drama too the 1st 6 episodes of tpm an entertainment torture ... ^w^ thats 25% of the whole show

If you want to try it out, you should so you can decide for yourself. I'm just showing that not everyone loves Jumong and I think both sides of the coin should be shown. The first episode did look ok, but that quickly changed, for me. And yes, I know your thing against old dramas...lol

i gave it 9 when i went through the first half i think me and my aunt are opposite on tpm,,, shes happy with the beginning..and get mader when it goes on
