I asked her if, when I was 16, would she have watched a movie for me to see if it was appropriate even though it was in Korean and subtitled? She loathes subtitled movies and hates asia even more.
Her answer both did and did not surprise me. She told me that of course she would have watched the movie for me. Why? Because she loves me and she would have been happy that I had the maturity to ask her for her advise. And now, years later, I think it IS a sign of maturity to say that you are just not ready for some things.
Now, I completely admit I would never have asked her at 16 to screen a movie for me, I would have just done it. Thankfully, this movie, and none like it, were within my prevue at that age.
So, take it as you will, I hope you will be wiser than I was at that age.
Sad thing is, I don't... Live alone, but my parents both work, and they are out of the country all the time. I am also an only child lol. Im not kidding when I say I see them maybe 1-2 times a year for less than 3 days >_> I cant do that lol, and they are super busy.
I think I might try watching it tonight, but If I think I cant get through a certain scene ill stop.
Thanks for your concern though, I really appreciate it.
But, Im not joking when I say I have been waiting for this movie since forever, and it looks really good.
