Ok, so this is something that I've been curious about for a looooong time now and I've tried searching to no avail what the reason is behind this. In korean dramas, mostly, at the beginning of the episode there will be a screenshot for like 1-2 seconds max, with some sort of background and ringtone-style sounds with the number 15 displayed somewhere. Most dramas have this, there may be only like one or two that I've seen that haven't. They've been in korean dramas only. I really am curious as to what the significance of that number is. It doesn't seem like it's a random number.
I've also been wondering that. Here is a pic of it http://postimage.org/image/1o2123iqs/
It's the age restriction. 15 means that the show isn't appropriate for children under the age of 15.
Oooh! That makes sense. Thanks sooo much BaT.

Now I kinda feel a little disappointed. I thought it would be something grander. Not sure what I was expecting though...
No prob! I was confused about it too at first, but then I started watching variety shows, and many of them have something similar but with the number 12 instead. Then it just kind of clicked into place. =)
Thanks for the info BaT
