If you don't mind I want to recommend Malaysian drama , it was a top drama at that time in our country . The ML hurt the FL because at first the FL is a bad person and a gold digger. So it turn out that the ML already judge the FL. The drama full of sweet, sad and funny but happy ending. The ML is not abusive , its just that he treat her badly because of her old mistakes. They got married but the ML fake his life , saying that all his wealth already gone because he was kicked by his family. So he bring FL into a tiny poor village house, using a small old car to torture his wife mentally. He's so sure that the FL will ask for divorce or at least leave him . But surprisingly the FL stay with him. Slowly she change into a kind woman when she realize about what she already done to her mother and brother. But the ML never trust her anymore saying that nobody can change easily. Actually ML already fall in love with FL but he don't want to admit. But he start treats her better when FL said she think she is pregnant.
Later FL find out that actually she is not pregnant lol, but before she tell ML, ML already find it out . So he thinks that FL intentionally cheat him using pregnancy as an excuse to stop him from bullying her.
When the FL really pregnant, ML didn't believe it anymore. at last FL ask to divorce her. ML make his wife working at his company as a guard because FL have high debts with him. So she must working to pay him back before divorced.
Actually ML only making excuses because he always want to see his wife but he didn't realize his feeling. He always take the chances to ask his wife clean his office and do everything near him .
When FL sacrifice herself to save ML's mother from being killed , and at that time ML knows about all the kindness that FL did without he knowing, He later regret a lot until he cry blood lol and FL took a long time to forgive her husband. After giving birth, FL run away with their baby. ML suffering alone because he miss her and his child a lot . He change from a smart handsome man into a messy man, with all the beard and long hair. He finally found his wife hiding with her mom at a tiny village. He move to the village and do everything . He try to correct all his mistakes to seek for forgiveness. But now FL take revenge and always scold the ML like what he did in their early marriage.
The title is Curi-Curi Cinta. Idk if its available on the internet but if you want to try to watch try to search on Telegram or Malaysian website like Kepala Bergetar. They have English Subtitles.
The other drama that I want to recommend is ThaibLakorn . The title is SAWAN BIANG. The male abuse the FL because want to take revenge to FL's sister. but later he regret a lot and the FL didnt easily forgive him. She make him going through a lot to ask for forgiveness. The best thing is that the FL and ML also have another drama together again but this time it reverse , the FL hate the ML because they slept together while drunking and the FL blame ML. She got pregnant and ML took the responsible , thats making the FL hate the ML more because the ML carrying a naive and kind character , 360 degrees differents from his character in Sawan Biang. The title is Oum Ruk(2006) it is really an old but not too old if you see the handsome ML and beautiful FL there.
