Any recommendations are welcome, thanks!

Kazoku no Katachi (2016) - the MDL description isn't accurate, particularly when it refers to the two 30's leads as "swinging singles". Both are loners who like their ordinary routine. Nice family/community drama.

Hayako Sensei (2016) - The single teachers at an elementary school often have projects dealing with their personal lives, such as physical fitness. They decide to work together to find possible spouses. Mid-30s Miss Hayako has been content living with her parents, but now those parents are getting older and her considerably  younger married sister is pregnant. More than wanting a husband, she seems to go along with what others want and expect. Pleasant people in this one - she's the elementary teacher you wish you had.

Oh awesome, thanks!

If I remember correctly Yankee-kun to Megane-chan was very much like this! The male lead was kinda rude bc he’s a yankee but he wasn’t actually a bad person he was actually kinda forced to be like that bc that’s what everyone thought he was like so he just played the part. And the female lead is very strong even if it doesn’t seem like it at first. And personally I think the plot was very interesting even though I can’t remember all of it correctly!

This was an absolutely sweet and lovely drama, I loved it so much ❤️

Silent

On A Starry Night  https://mydramalist.com/734149-hoshi-furu-yoru-ni

Both MLs are hearing impaired and both dramas are wonderful, in different ways)

Marry Me! (ML is lovely. I'm not sure if the FL could be considered strong - she's very withdrawn and timid but grows over the drama.)

Horimiya (sweet ML. FL is strong, imo)

Blue Birthday (ML is nice, FL is very strong. There's a couple villain characters but everyone else is likeable)

From Me to You (nice ML and supporting characters, a withdrawn FL but she changes over the drama)

Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun (I found the characters very likeable. ML may seem a bit rough around the edges but he's not a jerk and has a good heart.)

Smile (very kind ML, traumatized/disabled FL who has emotional strength. The drama is very heavy but good.)

Daisuki!! (it's a family drama so there's not a ML in the romantic sense. FL is disabled but very strong emotionally and stands up for herself and what she believes in. Most of the characters are either nice or change for the better over the drama.)
