So I'm rewatching Doctor John and one of the things I love about it is how protective they are of one another? I'm not necessarily looking for another medical drama but similar relationship dynamics?

((Other examples include The Ghost Detective, which was a lacklustre drama who's plot I've forgotten but the relationship between the leads stuck with me. And currently airing The Law Cafe))

I'm afraid I haven't seen any of the dramas you referenced, but these dramas have ride-or-die couples that are very protective of one another:

Oh! In the drama Happiness, that is probably its biggest strength. I absolutely love, love, love the main leads' dynamic. They are such a power couple, and even though the romance is more muted than other dramas, the fact that they genuinely care for/are protective of each other is pulpable. Maybe not my favourite drama ever, but worth watching for this.

I've seen that one and, yeah, it's a great example! I don't even like zombies and I was hooked.

I've seen four of these, but I'll check out the others. Thanks.

The Beauty Inside to me they were a definite power couple, each ready to defend the other, well before they even confessed.

Khaen Rak Salap Chata one of the couples is that. They really were made for each other, these two.

It's Okay, That's Love there's a lot of sexual tension, and a lot of camaraderie. Plus they lift each other up.
