I think i have to stop update this Chronology Thread, since it's a guidance for episode 1-4 for us to logically follow what is happening. Further i update it, it will have more spoiler.

 danny_ang:
20xx : (real) Joo Hae-Ri missing when she is an university student. It can be 2012 or later year.
In 2012, (real) Hae-Ri age is around 18-20 yo, common age for university student. In March 2012 (real) Hae-Ri still wrote in her diary.

In the notice for police dropping search for her(2019-02-20) it had the date 2014-02-20 in it(ep 3) i assume thats the date she went missing.

 danny_ang:
(alter) Hae-Ri age can be different with (real) Hae-Ri. Because, (alter) Hae-Ri was recreated by Eun-Ho.

I think it's the same age. If current "Hyeri" says age is 28 it works with her being 20 when she went missing in 2014, 25 when alter started working at the parking lot(5 years after she went missing) and Eunho worked as Hyeri for 3 years. So her being 28 currently will be correct.

@Aeon  Thank to pointed out year 2014, i missed it in episode 3 (its near border of the screen) and i missed it again in episode 5. Eventho i cant read Korean, but we can assume that as the year (real) Hae-ri is missing.

 Aeon:
I think it's the same age. If current "Hyeri" says age is 28 it works with her being 20 when she went missing in 2014

If in 2024 she is 28 yo, then in 2014 she is 18 yo, not 20 yo.

If she is 20 yo in 2014, then she would be 30 yo in 2024.

About age of (real) and (alter) Hae-Ri, i've mentioned it too in notes.
1. If both (alter) and (real) Hae-Ri are the same age, in 2024 (alter) Hae-Ri age 28 yo, then 1999 (real) Hae-RI age 3 yo.

I doubt kids 3 yo can write words. Usually they begin to develop writings at kindergarten age (5-6 yo).

Another thing,
2. if both (alter) and (real) Hae-Ri are the same age, in 2024 (alter) Hae-Ri age 28 yo, then in 2014 (real) Hae-Ri is 18 yo. Hae-Ri is missing on graduation trip, assumed it's her graduation, graduation age for university student is mostly 22 yo.

That 2 things will contradict with (real) Hae-Ri's age, so for me its okay if (real) Hae-Ri and (alter) Hae-Ri aren't the same age.

In this episode we learn 2017 is the date YeonO is acceptable as candidate for anchor job.

But not much about other precise dates.

Just went through the 6 ep and heres what I got:

  • 1988: Eunho is born.
  • 1988-09-16: Hyeon-Oh's birthday.
  • 1990: Ju Yeon is born.
  • 1994: Hyeri is born (estimated based on the age difference).
  • 2010 EunHo becomes an announcer
  • 2013-02-25: Ju Yeon's brother dies.
  • 2014-02-20: The real Hyeri goes missing.
  • 2019-02-20: The police investigation into Hyeri's disappearance is closed.
  • 2019: Hyeon-Oh's grandma dies.
  • 2019: Ju Yeon becomes an announcer.
  • 2020: Hyeon-Oh and Eunho break up.
  • 2020: Eunho pretends to be Hyeri and claims she is 25 years old.
  • 2024-01-24 to 2024-04-03: Hyeon-Oh has a psych consultation
  • 2024: Hyeri (alter) is 28 years old.
  • 2024: Ju Yeon is 34 years old(Korean age 35).

I have some confusion about the age. I hope they clear it up in the future. I am assuming the real and alter Hyeri are same age and here's my theory:

(Using international age)

Current time is May 2024
Eunho is born on 1988 and her sister is 6 years younger hence the birth year for real Hyeri would be 1994.

Eunho started pretending to be Hyeri after her grandmother passes away(2019) and her breakup with Heyyo-oh(2020). She had long hair in all the relationship flashbacks so I assume she cut her hair post breakup. That's probably why she decided to try and be Hyeri to see how she gets happiness since the brekaup probably made her depressed.  Real Hyeri would be 25 years old when EunHo started working in the parking lot if her bday is later in the year. Eunho would be 31/32 depending on when her bday is. Now the tricky part is alter Hyeri said he age is 28 in 2024 in May current timeline. But based on DOB her age should be 29 if her bday is later in the year or 30 if it's earlier in the year. So I think she stopped consciously being Hyeri in 2023 when real Hyeri should be 28 and something triggered her for the alter to come back and for her to start therapy in January 2024. So the age resumed from when she stopped?

Still dk what the Alter Hyeri timeline is tbh.  I think the confusion is coming from not knowing when the korean vs. int ages are used. I only know 3 main leads because of their announcer profile shown over the episodes. Hoping for them to clear it up soon.

There is bio on Eun-Ho dated 88-08-06, but i'm not sure on it. If it really her birthday, then she was born either on August or June.

You accidentally mixed up Eun-Ho and Hyeon-Oh on your typing.

Now about Hae-Ri'age. (real) Hae-Ri should be 30-32 in 2024.

If you add possibility of Eun-Ho stopped calculate (real) Hae-Ri's age the day she declared "forever missing" in 2019, all this age thing kinda make sense.

Let say in 2019 (real) Hae-Ri is 25 yo, and Eun-Ho stop counting her sister age from then on. In 2021 when she applied parking lot job as Hae-Ri, she only remember age 25. And then the counting resume, so in 2024 (alter) Hae-Ri is 28.

When alt Hyeri looked Hyeon-oh  and Eunho''s profile on ep it showed their bday. Hyeon-oh bday is 1988-09-16 and for Eunho it says 1988. IDK if they showed her bday anywhere else but in their announcer profile showed that in ep1.

 Aeon:
2024-01-24 to 2024-04-03: Hyeon-Oh has a psych consultation

this part, its Eun-Ho the one who have psychiatrist consultation.

And in 2019, i guess its you mean Eun-Ho's grandma.
