Zhang Yu Di is a writer and director born and raised in Beijing, China. While an undergrad at Fudan University, she developed a passion for documentary and transferred from Economic Studies to Journalism. Zhang Yu Di is currently completing her graduate studies at USC School of Cinematic Arts. Working as a Production Designer and a Director, she specialises in transforming ideas into colour and bringing them into tangible form with set dressing. Her writing and directing credits for short films include: "Marie" and "The Midsummer's Voice." Her films have been invited to exhibit at various film festivals, including the Cork International Film Festival, Palm Springs Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, and Philadelphia Film Festival. She believes that film is how she best communicates her vision and passions to the world, and she has no plans to stop. Edit Biography
