Ha Joo Yun, known professionally as Baby-J, is a South Korean singer, dancer and former member of JEWELRY. She attended Santa Monica College in the United States but dropped out. She made her debut in 2008 as the group's rapper with their 5th album "Kitchi Island". The group had debuted in 2001 but underwent several lineup changes less than a year after debuting. In 2006, two members left the group and she was brought in alongside Eunjung to replace them. Both new members debuted as part of the sub-unit JEWELRY-S with the release of their first mini album, "Sweet Song", in 2009. The group enjoyed moderate success but the constant lineup changes caused certain instability. In 2014, she announced that she was not renewing her contract with Star Empire Entertainment leaving the group in November and, less than two months later, JEWELRY disbanded. In 2016, she entered "Unpretty Rapstar 3" but was eliminated in episode 6 and that same year, she entered "Show Me The Money 5" but was eliminated in the preliminary round. In 2018, she appeared on "Two Yoo Project Sugar Man 2" with 3 former groupmates to revive one of the most popular songs, "One More Time", something they did again in 2022 for the show "Mama the Idol". She also took time off of the industry around 2019 and worked part-time at a café and even obtained her barista license.
