First of all, what’s with all the noise about cheating? Yes, Kehuan was playing around with women in the beginning, before breaking up with Ziyuan, but I don’t consider Weiwei kissing Kehuan as cheating although she did ALMOST sleep with him — but it didn’t happen after all. This is a story of how people settle for a life partner based on a checklist and it’s good that Kehuan and Weiwei discovered this beforehand.

The cast was excellent although I never felt SLS for Haoyi. Ziyuan is the type of woman that really grates on my nerves with her so called sacrificing for Kehuan—he saw that Weiwei was the opposite and that attracted him to her. I would also like to have a friend like Kefei who is always there for Weiwei.

The music fit the storyline and enhanced the story. Overall, I really liked this and will be watching it again.

I was looking for a light, fluffy show about first love and during the first ten episodes I thought I finally found it. Episodes 11 through 29 were very disappointing and fast forward was my friend. If this were a Kdrama, they would’ve handled this story nicely in 16 episodes. There were way too many tests of their love.

I have to say that all of the parents were pretty cool, except for Zuo An’s and Sun Anning’s mothers...especially his...she was out of the country for most of his life then returns to tell him that Gu Xiaoman isn’t good enough for him and he has to be with Anning? This is exactly why I’m so glad that I was born to an American mother! ;)

Would like to see a remake of this without all the extraneous junk in the middle, but show more of their life as interns and a wedding...

I really liked the cast of this and think everyone acted well. The music was nice and fit the story well. However, I don’t think I will be watching this again.

Not adapted but very, very loosely based on original story

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I couldn’t stop myself after being so disappointed in this version of one of my favorite stories.

The writers created an abomination of the original story by adding in every single trope in the universe. I should know since I read the book and watched the Chinese version 24 times. I was extremely disappointed in the way it was written but I did love Push and Aom together along with her friends and both families. The acting was great and was all that saved the rating I gave it.

This is only the third lakorn I’ve seen but if it had been the first, I would never watch another. I’m assuming it was written for a Thai audience, but do they realize that this makes the Thai people look like a bunch of bullies? You don’t see these extremes in Korean, Chinese or Japanese dramas.

Lika is the worst of all. Yes, there was a similar character in the original but at least she had enough class not to do anything illegal! You could argue that Gina was almost as bad, but at least she wasn’t betraying lifelong friends in the process. Miel is a role from the original whose role was expanded exponentially and made into a true psychopath, which was totally unnecessary. Miel copying Namhking also reminded me of a character in the Kdrama, Cheese In The Trap.

I could only get myself to watch through episode 35, then skipped 36-39 because I couldn’t handle anymore drama with the cancer. By going directly to episode 40, I was able to catch up and see the HEA.

I definitely won’t be watching this one again.

This is for mature audiences as it is not a romance, but it is about emotions and how they can be misleading sometimes. It is especially hard for teens to handle as they are learning as they go, so mistakes can be made. It also takes a while for adults to learn their lessons too.

I read the manga before watching this and they stick to the original story pretty closely. I feel the casting was perfect for this story as Sakurada Dori really knows how to play the sexy roles. The chemistry with the FL was there although I didn’t feel it with the teacher, probably because I didn’t like the character to begin with. Music was good and suited the feelings of the scenes, but nothing memorable.

Overall, this is good if you’re in the mood for a drama to make you think, but I don’t think I’ll be watching again anytime soon.

At first, I felt like FL was replaying Kotoko in Mischievous Kiss, but this story is not the same. It went pretty well until about episode 8, so I stuck with it, although I really hate the trope of the rich girl trying to buy the man she wants. I haven’t read the novel, so I don’t know if it is true to the story or not. The last 2 episodes were very rushed and it made absolutely no sense for Arata to end up with Midoriko! Should have been at least 14 to 16 episodes to tell the story properly. I highly doubt that I will watch this again because there are better doramas that I can finish in a day.

Of course, I watched this for Cha Eun Woo, the face genius. This is a nice, short but sweet drama of a girl that gets to fulfill the fantasy that many of us have. I like the way they brought out the lesson of not dating someone for looks alone but to find someone that likes you for who you really are - flaws and all.

Really liked the ending where they showed Astro and CEW explaining that he had been dreaming about her every night and he even dreamed of his first kiss. Too cute!

Will definitely watch this again as it only took about an hour to watch the episodes.

Gu Wei Yi and the others in the lab reminded me of the scientists in The Big Bag Theory show here in America: brilliant minds but clueless about that social interaction called dating. :) It was funny to see him google things he wanted to know how to do whenever he was frustrated with Mo Mo because he really wanted to be like other couples he saw around them. Mo Mo was scared because she hadn’t felt these feelings before so she ran away anytime he tried to move forward with the relationship. Overall, it was a sweet story of falling in love and learning to communicate.

Have to say that I didn’t have SLS on this one but Fu Pei deserves a mention. He lost Mo Mo because he assumed she would always be there even though he pretty much let her down all the time by doing whatever he wanted. Was glad to see that he took her words to heart before he hurt Shan Shan too.

Good casting and storyline with this one and I will definitely be watching this again.

Updated now that I’ve actually finished it. I really like this high school romance that also includes valued friendships and the complexities that come up with multiple people and teenage angst.

Personally, I like the acting. Hyo was perfectly cast with his gorgeous smile. I’ve seen several comments about Kumi not having any expressions but that is how she is written in the manga. The rest of the actors are doing a fine job.

The music fit the story, although I didn’t find it outstanding in any way.

Overall, I will probably watch this again sometime when I need a happy ending story.

To be honest, I started watching this for Lee Hong Ki and was surprised that this is better than I expected. I just finished watching for the second time and actually found it more entertaining than the first. The 18 - 20 minute episodes makes it easy to binge this in a single day, or it can be watched while commuting or at lunch time.

Some one mentioned SLS, but I honestly didn’t feel it this time. I could feel the chemistry between Yool and Na Ra from early on. The supporting cast was really good and really added to the storyline. The OST is really good and I’ve already purchased a few of the songs for my collection. Have already watched this twice and will definitely be watching it again.

Watched 10 times in a month!

This was the first C-drama I watched and I became obsessed. As a sometimes gamer and retired IT worker, this kept my attention. Casting is great as well as the CGI with the in-game scenes. Yang Yang as Xiao Nai is perfect casting and I liked Zheng Shuang as Weiwei but she seemed to have lost a ton of weight after the first few episodes so her twig legs were a distraction for me (and I'm not usually like that). Loved the side couple of K.O. and Hao Mei! I'm sure I'll be watching this again as I can't get the OST out of my head -- so I had to buy it. :)

Some have said this reminds them of Itazura na Kiss/Playful Kiss but this pales in comparison. Maybe it’s the actor’s lack of ability to show emotion, but I quit watching because the only thing appealing an out Urehara is his looks. I hoped things would get better, even in season 2, so I read the synopses on Netflix and came to the conclusion that it just wasn’t worth my time.

The rest of the cast was interesting and I cut a lot of slack for the FL because manga characters are usually over the top and I think she did an excellent job. Too bad the chemistry wasn’t there with the ML.
