Useless episode

So ex girlfriend is dead and they decided to bring her lookalike sister to the story instead? This is a trope that can forever vanish, IMO.

I feel sorry for Ansheng & Fang

Ansheng is the pitiful one in this episode. He has to sit back and keep his mouth shut ? while watching his sister engaged to a criminal. Li Fang also doesn’t have it easy trying to act like nothing is wrong or different with Li Sheng.

Wow! Heavy hitting

Love seeing Yoo In Na in a new drama but feel bad for the ML at the end of this episode. Looking forward to the next episode.

Best episode so far!

Don’t want to spoil it but I’ve rewatched this episode more times than I can count! The story is really comping together and advancing faster than I thought it would.

She doesn’t like being lied to yet she lies to her boyfriend?!?

I felt this coming in the last episode and it’s a plot twist that didn’t need to happen. If she trusts Yubing, then she should have told him about Yu Yan and asked him to keep the secret. I hate this in dramas as it doesn’t make sense.

Namkhing rocks!

Maybe get be a bit of a spoiler but loved near the end of this episode where she told Lika that she’s staying where she’s happiest, right beside Boss! Never thought she’d say anything like that to Lika. Payu is starting to give her a little more confidence.

Jiang Yan is the worst!

I wish Xingcheng would really man up and kick her to the curb. He’s clueless when it comes to her. I had to stop watching this episode after he left to take her home. I know this is only a couple of years old now but still had to say something.Edited to say that he’s not as stupid as Jiang Yan thought.

Better and better

I very rarely watch a drama as it airs but can’t help myself with this one. Cast, acting, cinematography, f/x, and OST are phenomenal.

Best since Goblin!

? Just finished episode 1 and it’s fantastic! Usually takes 2 or 3 episodes to hook me. The last one that got me like this was Goblin. The casting is perfect with the three leads.

Finally, a child stands up against their mother!

Love that Jiang Chen told his mother that he would dare to quit school later if she dared to change his college choices! IMHO, most Asian parents are too pushy about their dreams for the children instead of letting the child follow their own dreams.

Grabbed my interest

First episode is about 10 minutes long but it was interesting enough to keep my interest. Only 5 more episodes to go and I’m putting it on my calendar to check for new episodes on Fridays.

What is it with taking a 16 year old out of high school to go to China to run a factory? This cannot be realistic in Japan or any other industrialized nation!

Did they change the stylist for Weiwei?

I’ve seen a lot of comments about how Weiwei suddenly looked too skinny...almost anorexic! Just started rewatching this for the umpteenth time and realized that it started in this episode with the ugly skirt she wore to the office on the first day. The actress is very slender and such a short, full skirt doesn’t suit her at all. She looks much nicer in short, slimmer skirts or in something longer and more conservative. I can’t believe the producer & director allowed this to happen. It’s really distracting and goes on in future episodes too.

A little confusing

While it’s good, they could’ve handled the flashbacks better. I had to rewind in a few places to keep track.

Haoyi is clueless

Haoyi needs a dictionary to see the difference between “involved” and “cooperate”. He also doesn’t realize that he is manipulating her by making all the decisions himself. It certainly looked like he was cheating in the karaoke.
