"On the backside of the moon, there was not even a single ray of light."
"I have someone that I want to make happy, but if that person really finds happiness then I won’t be needed by anyone in this world."
Human darkness was always something that fascinated people and Byakuyako portrays two of the most interesting and complicated characters I have ever watched, that have fallen into the abyss. It focuses on two pathetic human beings, Yukiho and Ryoji that are trapped in their past and guilt. Their relationship can’t be defined with a simple word. It is not love, nor friendship. It is a complicated connection between two scarred humans that found someone to rely on. Like the sun and the moon, Yukiho and Ryoji are meant to exist in the same universe and offer comfort and rest to one another, but without being able to truly exist at the same time.
"After that, I told lies upon lies. This way, I lost every bit of the truth."
