The movie is very fast paced, it gets straight to the point and it never gets boring. I was glued to the screen the whole time and never felt the urge to skip any scenes. It was very well-directed and it has an unique storyline. I didn't expect to almost cry because of a movie called ''How to Steal a Dog''. The emotions were done right and I absolutely loved the mother and her two kids.
The acting is what made the movie such a nice experience. Lee Re is extremely talented and I can see her having a successful career in the future. The same goes for Lee Ji Won and my baby Hong Eun Taek who's my favourite child actor ever! Kang Hye Jung was also amazing.
Overall, a very enjoyable movie! I'm usually into thrillers when it comes to movies, but once in a while I decide to watch something more light and ''How to Steal a Dog'' was a very good pick and I recommend it to everyone.

I loved aboslutely everything about this movie. It's a mixture of comedy & thriller and some movies fail to combine these two genres. But The Accidental Detective does it flawlessly. The comedy felt so natural and you can't help but laugh. I don't think I've ever laughed at a movie that much. There were so many hillarious scenes, I feel like laughing just remembering them!
The first half of the movie was a bit slower than the second one. Most of the comedy elements are in the first one, while in the second, there are a few very intense, nerve-racking secenes. I definitely felt like watching a very good thriller. I don't get scared easily when I watch movies, but that scene when they went to the shop where Yu No was... Man, I started trembling! Very well-made scene!
The plot twists were very nicely done. I couldn't predict that at all, I was very far from the thuth.
Kang Dae Man and Detective Noh are one of the best teams I've ever seen! Both Sung Dong Il and Kwon Sang Woo did a brilliant job portraying their characters and it was obvious that they were having fun filming the movie! Thing is my first time watching Sang Woo and I must say I'm very impressed.
The reason why I'm giving the music 6/10 is not because of the music itself, but these lound sounds... My ears couldn't handle them.
So overall, The Accidental Detective is a brilliant movie which will surely make you laugh. It's a very enjoyable ride, there was no boring second so it's a very easy watch!

''Cunning Single Lady'' had so much potential and I was going to give it at least 8.5/10. I'm really angry right now because if episodes 14-15 did not happen, I would have been more satisfied. Overall, the drama has very enjoyable plot and it's very addicting. I binged it because I was always way too excited to watch the next episode which doesn't happen often, since I'm quite a picky watcher. I did fell for CSL's unique charm and I don't regret it at all, even though I felt disappointed at the end.
I loved the main characters' development here. It's insane how much they grew on me and how close I felt to them. Na Ae Ra is one of the best female leads I've seen in a while. She was strong, independant and very kind-hearted. I understood her perfectly and even though the decisions she took were not always the best, she realized her mistakes and apologised. Cha Jung Woo was such a jerk at the beginning, but, trust me, you'll start loving him as soon as he shows his true identity. He was extremely cute and just like Ae Ra, he was also a very strong character. It just took me a little bit more time to understand his point of view.
The side characters were also nice, I especially loved Jung Woo's secretary and Kang Min Young. Na Ae Ra's and Jung Woo's families were irritating, but I tried my best not to pay them much attention.
Which leads me to the second leads and their family. The drama would have been so much better without them. Seung Hyeon was useless. I never liked him and he acted childishly most of the time as if his feelings were the most important. (Na Ae Ra was also at fault because she kept him by her side the whole time.. guuuurl, why?) I loved Yeo Jin at first and I foolishly thought that she won't cause any problems... Yeah, anyways. Neither Seung Hyeon nor Yeo Jin were bad characters at first, but the writer ruined them. They were basically there to cause problems which was very stupid. They just didn't fit. And their family was horrible.
So overall, I do recommend Cunning Single Lady (who is not that cunning tbh) if you are patient viewer and you don't mind cliches. It was quite a nice ride and I had great time watching it. It could have been more, but it was still pretty decent.

It really hurts just thinking that this movie is based on a true story. It was full of happiness and then suddenly it started becoming more and more painful.
I still think that it felt too rushed. I wanted to see more of their love story and I found it hard to connect with the characters. I was very interested in Hiroki but I didn't get the chance to understand him better. Maybe I'll give a chance to the drama adaption, the plot might be more developed in it. And Mika was too nice to be true. But her character was soooo relatable.
I loved the acting! And I am totally in love with Miura Haruma! This guy is so good-looking and from what I saw in this movie he is a good actor too. Aragaki Yui also did a great job at portraying Mika.
Overall, this movie was very heart-breaking but it's worth watching.

Kishibe Rohan - our the eccentric main character pretty much carried the whole drama on his shoulders. The way he dresses, the way he looks, the way he talks, the way he expresses his emotions makes you feel some type of way... it makes you excited. Because he's such a cool character. And Takahashi Issei was simply brilliant and perfectly chosen for this role.
The three episodes were equally intriguing even though I slightly favour the first one. I love how the story is simple yet has depth. The CGI was decent, they did it in a simpler way and it was the best decision. Now, it does feel a bit rushed, but it's 3 episodes after all.
Overall, a good short drama and I'm hoping to see a second season because I wish to see more of Rohan's past and want to get to know him more.

What did I just watch? I mean, for real? Such a disappointing movie and I had high expecations. I feel soo annoyed.Horror? Gore? Mature? When I saw these three things I thought that this movie will be very exciting, with lots of bloody and disturbing scenes, with dark and twisted murderer and with very intense storyline.
What did I get instead? There was only one thrilling scene which was at the beginning (in Yeong Min's house). That's was the only intense moment of the movie. Blood? Yes, but not enough. Disturbing scenes? Yes, a small kid may find them disturbing. A thriller fan like me would not be impressed. And why is this a horror is a mystery to me, lol.
So brutal muderer? Well, he was brutal for sure. Did he make me excited or did he make my blood boil? No, I simply didn't care about him.
So what is this movie about? A bunch of stupid cops. Okay, I know what korean dramas and movies usually make the cops very dumb and annoying, but at least they give them some reasons to be like that (no matter how stupid the reasons are). Here, however, the cops made NO sense. You have a person who admits that he killed so many people, he tells you how he killed them, he tells you that one might be STILL ALIVE and you ask him if he had sex with his girlfriend. Of course you should do this in this kind of situation.
And everything was so predictable. Plot twist? Development? The movie simply doesn't know these things exist. It was just hella boring from start to finish.
A waste of good actors though. Ha Jung Woo was mind-blowing as Je Yeong Min, he saved the whole movie with his amazing acting, honestly.
Overall, I don't recommend this movie. Don't watch it unless you want to waste your time. If you're looking for exciting and intense thriller, that's not it. Very disappoinitng.

''Not being able to speak at all. That is hell''
''1987'' is an excellent movie that makes you feel angry and frustrated most of the time. It shows the cruel world we live in and how trashy politics can be. After I finished it, I informed myself about the June Struggle and it's insane how well ''1987'' shows what really happened. The movie is definitely more of a slow-paced one and it is kind of complicated because there are qiute a lot of characters. But because the events were explained very well and the storytelling was nice, it was not hard to follow and you don't really get bored. I wholeheartedly enjoyed each moment of it, the dialogues were written very well and the cinematography was out of this world. It's my first time seeing a movie by Director Jang Joon Hwan but I must say I'm very impressed. The cast was also brilliant!
The ending was breathtaking. Honestly, one of the best movie endings ever. Very sad, very emotional and meaningful. Definitely the best moment of the movie.
The only problem I had with this movie is actually very simple, but it bugs me. Every sound was so loud while the characters' voices were too quiet. I contstantly had to adjust the volume and it made my watching quite unpleasant.
So overall, the ''1987'' is very powerful movie that won't be easy to forget. The feeling you get from will be hard to get erased.

Wachable if you block your ears and only watch with your eyes...
When watching Korean dramas, everyone should be aware that cliches are unavoidable. They have been a part of kdrama industry since forever and it doesn't look like writers will soon give up on them. But it's fine, cliches are fine. What is important is how you use them in the relevant plot. If they're done well there shouldn't be a problem and they wouldn't bother the viewer. Doom at Your Service couldn't do even the cliches properly. You can't do something that has been done hundreds time before...Morever, fantasy is as far away as possible the best genres kdramas can do. Usually sci/fi and fantasy are a hit or miss and this one is definitely a miss. Why is a miss here specifically? Because they can explain no sh*t properly. And it starts in the beginning, the explanation Myeol Mang did to the female lead about the wish she has, made me hit my head on the table because I felt like I was losing my brain. And then it all fell down. I was already uninterested about her wishes and I already saw that things in this drama will be going nowhere as I expected to be. If you want to make fantasy work, you should use some brain.
The drama has no brain. And it's mainly because of the female lead but since everything revolves around her excistence, her doing stupid things all the time will eventually lead to the whole drama being stupid as hell. The scrpit is at fault here I guess. I hate when a character is doing something for no reason just for the sake of the plot to progress. The whole drama relies on that. And not only her, but the male lead was also doing unreasonable stuff all the time. The drama has such a random plot like things are just happening for them to just happen with no reason. And the finny thing is, the drama is supposed to be philosophical, but all they do is talk a lot while not saying much.
The romance... now, Seo In Guk's kiss scenes are something else. I would recommend the drama just for them. The chemistry between the couple was non-existant, at least for me. I just didn't like the development of their relationship or should I say the lack of one. They just simply--- fell in love. All of their moments felt forced to me.
Myul Mang is a good character on the surface but his potential wasn't fully shown due to sappy writing. Dong Kyung... I don't know, maybe because of her unreasonable actions, I didn't really like her. Park Bo Young is a good actress, but we all know that she has that child-like vibe and she's not suitable for any role.
Overall, while there were some moments I enjoyed, I wouldn't say I liked the drama. It deserves a 6 because of the cast and the fact that for me something below 6 is really bad while Doom is watchable, but it really depends on what you're looking for and your drama taste.

The truth is, Confession of Murder is all about its plot twist. The plot twist is what makes the movie actually good. And watching the Japanese remake knowing about the plot twist, was not the best decision. If you know the truth behind everything, you don't feel excited at all. I was just bored but was still curious if they'll add anything more to the original story.
And they did, they added a plot twist to the plot twist, lmao. Not a good idea, it was actually ridicuous and totally unnecessary. The movie felt so long and they even add more stuff. Actually the overall pace was kind of slow.
The acting was good though, which is one of the reasons why this movie wasn't THAT bad after all. Ito Hideaki did an amazing job. As for Fujiwara Tatsuya, he was decent. Honestly I remember the killer being more of a psycho, he made every scene hella intense, at least that's how Park Shi Hoo portrayed him in the original version. Fujiwara Tatsuya was a the colder, calmer version.
The directing was amazing and there's this one thing that was done better in this version - the revelation at the end. It was more intense and I loved it.
It's a decent watch, though I wouldn't recommend it if you've seen the Korean original movie, because as I said, it will be less exciting.

The story has a really great pace; it starts with our two main characters meeting each other for the first time, how they fell in love, how they got engaged and how they started planning their wedding. This part of the plot was more fast-paced, but didn't feel rushed at all. Then, when the main part of the story aka Mai falling into coma finally started, the movie blossomed and became an emotional roller coaster.
Watching Hisashi taking care of Mai was both heartbreaking and beautiful. Nowadays, it's hard to imagine that such true love exist. To devote 8 years of your life to someone who doesn't have big chances to wake up and to take care of them with such love... it made me tear up a little. The actors, especially my love Sato Takeru, did an amazing job at portraying the emotions of their characters and that made the movie way more touching and emotional. The acting in the movie felt very natural, I must say. They didn't exaggerate, it was somehow realistic.
Overall, an amazing movie and I would recommend it to everyone, especially to the romance enthusiasts. And to Takeru's fans too, of course, he was way too sweet here, you'll regret if you don't give it a chance.

It's strange because I wasn't really invested in the story at first. The movie is actually quite fast-paced which has its pros and cons. The pros are, of course, you don't get bored and don't feel the urge to skip any scenes. The cons are the lack of depth and you find it hard to connect with the story and the characters just because you don't really know anything about them.
But somehow, the second half managed to catch my full attention and gosh that ending... I mean, yes, it's not the most original movie out there. It doesn't have the most shocking plot twist I've ever seen. But every second of it, every spoken word, every shared moment... it was perfectly done. The writing of this movie is no joke. Simply beautiful and heartbreaking.
Of course we, viewers, can easily say ''They should have talked more'', but what do we know? What do we really know? What would we do in this kind of situation?
The acting was absolutely brilliant. Kwon Sang Woo never ceases to amaze me, he always delivers amazing performances and the same goes for Lee Bo Young. Lee Bum Soo though... this man is HOT. The kiss was just... out of this world lol.
So yeah, More Than Blue is a masterpiece. It's very meaningful and thought-provoking. I'm sure it will be hard for me to forget it and trust me, I forget movies veeeeery easily. But this one touched me deeply.

I've seen the drama remake ''The Crowned Clown'' and when I decided to watch the movie I thought ''Okay, I already know what will happen, so will I even like it?'' God, how wrong I was. The movie and the drama are extremely different so if anyone else is wondering whether they should watch the movie when they've seen the remake - trust me, you haven't seen enough of this story and you'll be very surprised, so just watch this.
I love historical genre, but historical movies are not really my thing. They often feel very slow at the beginning, then way too rushed at the end. ''Masquerade'' though, was very fast-paced overall, it got me hooked from the first ten minutes because it got straight to the point which I very very appreciate. It did feel a little too rushed at times though, especially towards the end. But I guess that why they decided that it would be nice to make a drama too (and the drama got too draggy but anyways).
The cinematography though... absolutely mind-blowing! Every scene was like a piece of art. The lighting, the sound effects, the costumes and the overall atmosphere - everything was on point. I'm not surprised that this is one of the highest-grossing SK movies and it won so many awards with a reason.
Lee Byung Hun was certainly the star of the show. His portrayal of the cold-hearted king and the quirky Ha Sun is simply excellent. I loved his interactions with the Royal Secretary and the Eunuch so much! The reaction of these two mirrored mine so perfectly.
My biggest disappointment in this movie was Han Hyo Joo. I've heard some negative opinions about her, but I never thought of her as a bad actress since I liked her in every show I've seen her. However, here, her performance was very weak. Her expressions either looked fake or too overdramatic. Next to the brilliance of Lee Byung Hun and Ryu Seung Ryung, her acting felt very flat.
Oh, did I mention the humour? This movie is hella funny, I almost cried from laughing! Of course is also very heavy and emotional, but the humour was just perfect and so on point. I'm sure I'll rewatch the movie just to see those funny scenes again haha.
Overall, I highly recommend this movie to everyone! It easily became on of my favourites and I'm soo glad that I finally watched it!

''The Battleship Island'' is an excellent production filled with action, gore and outsanding performances. It's a movie that grabs your attention in the first few minutes and keeps you under pressure till the very end. I was completely mesmerised by how real everything looked, I just want to congratulate director Ryu Seung Wan for creating such a mind-blowing piece of art. It's obvious how much work he has put into making this movie and not only him, but the whole staff and the cast.
This movie is based on a true story - an attempted prison break from a forced labor camp on Hashima Island. However, I'm not sure how accurate everything is and I don't think anyone can tell. If there was such violence on this island, I don't think anyone would admit it lightly. I can't tell if the movie is exaggarated or not, but it makes you think and feel a lot of things for sure. The director himself told that the movie has non-fiction elements which are there to show ''how war can make a monster'' and this just tells me that he perfectly knew what was doing, since the movie definitely shows how war can affect person's life and make him change. And even though he said that the movie doesn't intend to convey any-japanese sentiments, you can't help but feel hatred towards the japanese people on the forced labour camp. And personally, I'm not a fan of Japan's doings in the past myself so this movie just made me even more angry. The ending of the movie though... It left me speechless.
Now, there are things which I didn't really like. For example, the final battle was way too freaking long, it losts its impact. And the middle part of the movie felt kind of slow, but overall the movie is fast paced.
The acting was superb! The most outstanding performance for me was So Ji Sub's brilliant portrayal of Choi Chil Seong. I've never seen him play this type of character, I've never seen him act like that and I was truly impressed.
The sound effects were amazing! This is one of the few movies in which I don't find the sound effects annoying. The cinematography was breathtaking.
Overall, ''The Battleship Island'' is an amazing movie and it's a must-watch for sure, especially if you are like me and find interesting everything related to WW2 and SK under Japanese rule. However, you've been warned that the movie contains a lot of disturbing scenes, violence, nudity and gore.

Dae Man and Tae Soo and their bromance are the best part of this movie (and its prequel)! I love the bond between them and I love how their relationship developed. I would want to see a thrid movie just to watch these two -- I'll never get tired of their funny interactions! The new guy - Yeochi was a very funny and interesting character and he suited the overall atmosphere of the movie. Lee Kwang Soo was amazing <3
They focused a lot more on the comedy stuff in this movie which is not bad because they were funny as hell! However, the plot was kinda getting draggy at the middle and towards the end. Of course the purpose of this movie is not to be realistic, but some parts of the plot were a bit to illogical to for me to not notice them. And the twist at the end was kind of... I honestly didn't liked it because I think this type of crime is way too serious, way too brutal and it makes me shiver whenever I think of it so I don't think it's suited for the light atmosphere of the movie. It didn't shock me since it was kind of predictable, it just felt off.
Overall, ''The Accidental Detective 2: In Action'' is a nice movie and if you liked the first part, you should try watching the second, too! I'll definitely watch the third part if there'll be one!~
Was this review helpful to you?
The plot is very simple, yet quite deep and complicated. It's a very slow-paced drama and it's kinda hard to get into it from the beginning. Yes, slow-pacing definitely fits this kind of storyline, but I can't deny that in the first few episodes I was just (im)patiently waiting for some progression with Fumiya's character. I was the most curious about him but he didn't appear much. The second half was much better, at times it was so intense that I felt as if I'm watching a thriller. There were so many moments that made me shiver, the characters always managed to shock me with their actions.
The biggest charm of this show is definitely the characters and how natural and realistic they are. I can a hundred percent say that I loved everyone of them - even Fumiya, who I lowkey wanted to kill because of some things he said. You can relate to every single character, you can feel their pain, you cry with them. One of the strongest, well-developed characters I've ever seen.
Fumiya was the most interesting character for me. I'm usually a person who tends to pity villians, but him... I just felt so angry watching him. I wish they had explained his twisted behaviour in a more detailed way. I can't talk much about him because I'm trying my best not to spoil.
The ending could have been better but it also could have been worse. It's not the ending you'd usually expect for a story like this and I think that's why a lot of people were dissatisfied with it.
The acting in Soredemo, Ikite Yuki is one of the best I've ever seen. Every actor was perfect for their role. Especially the three main leads and the actress who portrays the mother of Hiro. Mind-blowing performances which I will never forget.
Overall, I do recommend Soredemo, Ikite Yuki, but I'm warning you that the drama is very heavy and depressing. I still believe that everyone should check it out though. Maybe if you're going through somethings, Hiroki and Futaba will help you heal.
