Story: It’s a beautiful tragic romance. There are some cliche parts, such as Makoto liking another girl while she looks on, but it is so beautifully done that I don’t even care. It’s unique in a way. She lacks a growth hormone, making her look very young when in reality it’s deeper than just that. The two of them are perfect together, as friends and lovers. The ending will definitely make you cry, it made me ball my eyes out.

Music: The music set the mood for everything and the ending theme is so beautifully sung I put it on my ipod right away. It’s one of those songs (for me at least) that whenever you’ll hear it, your heart will jerk because it will remind you of that tragic relationship between the two mains.

Cast/Acting: The leads were all I cared about, honestly. I was too absorbed in their odd relationship to even care about the rest of the cast, who only held a certain amount of air time anyway. They did great getting into their characters and playing the parts. It all seemed very sincere to me. They seemed to

If you're a swimmer then you'll definitely want to watch this movie because the pool features so predominantly it's almost another character. What I liked about this movie mainly was the music. The story is interesting but I feel that I wasn't as much into it as I should have been because I found the actors a bit too reserved and lacking in passion.
Overall it wasn't a bad movie and I don't regret watching it, but I don't think I'll feel inspired enough to re-watch it for a while.

I found this movie really amazing. Each character had their own story, whether it was shown or not. Every actor in it was really into their role, like all of them had experienced something like that before.
I watched this movie think it was going to be a sci-fi movie from the title. I tend not to read much about something and just watch it. I'm actually glad it wasn't. It had a nice psychological feel to it and I would definitely watch it again.

Movie is divided into 3 totally different stories. So...we have tree ways to end our world: zombie attack, robots becoming more spiritual then humans and of course giant 8-ball that will destroy the earth. I have to say the last story was most bizarre and most enjoying to watch. This movie is crazy! Really! Story is unique there is no doubt! I actually enjoyed watching it a lot. Even the zombie version, although I don't usually prefer this kind of movies, but the way zombie virus hit the population was interesting. I can only say that recycling is scary... The robot story reminded me of Japanese anime, and the whole soul in the shell concept. And of course mine favorite 8-ball attack.
This movie is not for anybody, some will hate it some will love it, I'm in between, and I will give this movie strong 7.

If you enjoyed the TV series you will LOVE this movie that is still not subbed. During my stay in Japan I had the opportunity to watch it. Lets just say that the actors portray their characters perfectly, the only character I seem to enjoy the least is Hani, But I have never been a fan of the cutesey type and portraying the massive eyes tiny body thing in reality is a little hard.

The soundtrack was nice and I am planning on buying it from Amazon.jp as soon as I can,
Costumes once again were superb but I didn;t like the small changes they made to tamakis. I think that is because I had gotten so sued to how he was in the series.

I will not spoil anything but I will say that if you are after a few laughs, watching Tamaki be dramatic, the twins being devilish and other such events which you'd expect from the show, watch it ASAP!
Will rewatch this as soon as I can :D

Well, I started to watch this movie because I saw that it was in a blogger which was in the "top ten live-action animated" list and that jay chou was in here.

This movie is about 'Takumi' who is a normal high school student who started driving when he was just 13 because he delivers tofu every morning to hotels with his dad's AE86. But he just recently got his license a few days ago. He also works a part time job at a gas station. Takumi lives with his father who is a drunk and is known as the "god of Mt. Akina" as a racer. One day, Takumi was doing one of his regular delivery until he passed a street racer and the racer tries to race him but he lost. Since then, every one wants to race with Takumi. What makes it more interesting is that they are racing an AE86 comparing to the modern faster cars!

I'm a girl myself and enjoyed watching this movie. So it's surprising that it kept me watching this movie all to the end even though I know nothing about racing and about cars. This movie has it's own paced and you get in to it really easily. It really is a really original feeling and it is really enjoyable to watch it. & it seemed like jay chou didnt have any sense or feeling to it or that he didn't show much expression to it. But I'll get to that point later. Overall, I do recommend people to give this a shot.

After watching this movie, I decided to watch the anime. & boy, I was surprised. The anime is by far better than the movie. I was even shocked that it got me this much interested. Like I said, I am a girl watching a car racing movie/drama, so I didn't know anything. But you can learn alot of racing in the anime and movie. & like what I said above about jay chou's acting, the anime's character was expression less and a little less smart, his acting was exactly like the anime, and I was pleased that jay chou acted that way. & so, If you checked out the movie, I really recommend the anime after watching the movie because it goes more into the depth of the character and story. & if you haven't checked out the movie yet and not plan to, you should still check on the anime for the first or two episodes.

Yeah, I'm going a little far on the anime, but it is really good and so is the movie. & Initial D (LIVE ACTION) needs to have a part two. & I'm anticipating on it. Definitely worth watching.

Story: I absolutely loved the first Crows Zero and fell in love with the sequel. Usually sequels aren’t too good but this was amazing. It wasn’t just about fighting, it was about revenge, justice and defending honor. The best part about all the fighting is that it’s not just punching. There is so much more going on. You’d think that with two schools battling it out against each other there would be too much going on to even notice everyone else’s skill, but the director did an amazing job showing everyone off and making sure each fight gets the attention it deserves.

Music: Another amazing soundtrack, just like the first movie.

Cast/Acting: I’ve seen Oguri Shun act in several movies and dramas. He does alright in romantic comedies and such. But I truly think he shines the best when he plays a serious character like Genji. Everyone did such an amazing job, there were even parts that made me laugh.

Story: This was my first fighting movie ever (I never even watched American fighting movies) so I didn’t go in expecting much. This movie blew me away and even more. I found the story very interesting. And despite it being based off of a manga, the characters were recreated and very interesting. Even with all the ass kicking the director still found time to add bits of humor. It wasn’t very realistic taking place at a school where the only time you see teachers is at the very beginning, but the rest of it was alright.

Music: It was enjoyable. Nothing as memorable as the soundtrack to 1 Litre of Tears, but decent none the less.

Cast/Acting: The only, and I mean only, reason that I wanted to try out a violent movie in the first place was because Oguri Shun stars in it (him being my favorite Japanese actor). I wasn’t disappointed. Of course like his role in Hana Kimi and Hana Yori Dango he plays a more silent and serious type and plays it even better than I’ve ever seen. I had no problem believing into his charactor.

In addition to Oguri Shuns brilliant acting, I loved some of the leaders from other gangs. Mostly because, as a girl, a lot of them made great eye candy. Such as Tokio played by Kenta Kiritani, Izaki played by Sousuke Takaoka and Hiromi played by Shunsuke Daito.

Even better than the eye candy were the fight scenes. No lie.

I had initially written a review about how much I hated this movie, but I think of it differently now.

This movie is very confusing from the start to the end. Sometimes we are alternating between reality and imagination, and it gets hard to keep up especially during the last half an hour. While the pacing is kind of slow, it manages to build a certain amount of curiosity in the viewer because nothing can be predicted about it. While the idea of this film is pure genius, the screenplay isn't nearly as good. It could have turned out a lot better.

Seems like too much was left for the end for the 'shock value'. Both the direction and editing are lousy within the last half an hour and at the same time that is the best part of the movie. Too much happens which is difficult to take in at once and understand it. I had to go back and watch certain scenes to fully confirm that what I understood was true. However, the ending managed to shock me. And I realized how well the things were connected with each other. We are given subtle hints about the ghost and the sisters right from the beginning. I would say it requires a lot of observation to be able to figure out things before the movie ends.

Since it is psychological horror, that element is definitely present in it. While I never got scared watching this film, it managed to surprise me and creep me out. The wardrobe scenes and the younger sister getting her period were both creepy.

Unfortunately, this movie falls short of a few things which don't allow it to be a masterpiece. Still, the overall effort is really good. I initially felt that the movie was overrated, but it is definitely not.

It has a good rewatch value because I think these kinds of movies get better with each watch.

In the beginning I liked this movie because of the male lead character. His silly and quirky ways make the little things he does seem that much more endearing. The story is simple and not over done making it feel like something is missing. It's because of this aspect that it feels more like a real life story. The actors aren't glamorous or cinematic and neither is the plot. This movie hits home and sticks with you.

So where do I begin? I play Ping Pong myself so after I saw that there was another movie about ping pong coming out, I knew I had to watch it.

Story: 9/10: The story isn't really that unique, but what bumped it up for me was that it was based off of a true story and most of the events in the movie actually happened. During the entire movie, there was not one moment where I was bored, thus the high rating.

Acting/Cast: 10/10: The cast was absolutely perfect. They all did a great job.

Music: 8/10: There wasn't that much music in the movie, but sometimes(and in this case) the phrase 'less is more' comes into play.

Rewatch Value: 5/10: I don't rewatch movies or dramas. However, I can see myself rewatching this with a friend or family member.

Overall: 10/10: I wouldn't change one thing about this movie. It was perfect and I hope to see more films like this.

When i first saw the title of this film I was far beyond intrigued to say the least. As i enjoy a good steamy romance every now and then. Or at least that's what I was expecting at first, but then I found out it was a romantic comedy. Which is cool, if not even better because that's my favorite genre.

Unfortunately, I feel like this film didn't do all that great on either end to be honest. While the movie was /sort of/ funny (and i use this description loosely) i was bored while watching it. On top of that I found their forms of "seduction" entirely too unrealistic and disgustingly cheesy; so, I didn't necessarily enjoy the romance aspect of it either. It was weak.

However, I did enjoy Song Il Gook's acting. Though Son Ye Jin's character made me want to bang my head against a wall because the girl is really annoying and overall made the movie hard to enjoy which is sad for me to say because I actually really do like Son Ye Jin.

Overall, this movie is simply really shallow and holds no special aspects at all in my honest opinion. Kind of felt like i wasted my time on it; which is a huge disappointment considering I kind of added this to my watch list with high hopes.

Really good. Half scary, half suspense. It's knda disappointing that you can see what's going to happen just imaginating it, but the movie deserves to be watched. And it makes justice from the japanese legend of the slit-mouthed woman. All the story, from the begining to the end was interesting, even the individual story of every character.

The first part of Carved (or Kuchisake-Onne) was really good, all of it: the cast, music, the story... But this one kinda disappointed me. It had more history, yes, but lost all the terror from the japanese legend the slit-mouthed woman. It was like watching a total diferent movie, when it's supposed to be a second part.

Story: The story was wonderful. It sounded like the perfect comedy, it was, and ended up being so much more. I watch most of my stuff on dramacrazy.net and the description for this movie on that site doesn’t do it justice. It is so much more than a comedy. Each of the workers in the bakery has their own little traumatic past, from being a “gay-of-demonic-charms” to having been kidnapped. Even with the traumatic pasts of the bakery workers, it doesn’t put a downer on the movie. They work the drama into a comedy very smoothly and nicely. It’s still a very funny movie, one that made me laugh so many times and will continue to rewatch it.

Music: The music is really enjoyable. They picked perfect songs and used them in just the right places. I like how it’s mostly classical, not one song that they play continuously. It fits what’s going on in the show without overdo-ing it.

Cast/Acting: The cast was perfect! They all did a great job getting into their characters, every one of them seemed genuine and believable. I had no problem buying into them and falling for their drama. Especially Kim Jae Wook. He did a great job with his role. I was even surprised at how well he speaks French. I, personally, even thought all of them were pretty cute. What’s a good movie without some eye candy, yeah?
