Type Grows Into a Man Everyone Can Love, Not Just Tharn!
I don't know if there can ever be a series that is perfection, and I am not going to suggest that this show is perfect, but what we get is Golden anyway. This show was always about how Type develops into a person that we can accept as Tharn's love. Back in Series 1, Type was rough and rude and the only person worse was Lhong. But, seven years later, Type is a changed man because of his love for Tharn. Are they perfect? No. Are they realistic in their challenges and decisions (even if bad ones)? Yes. We should never forget that the whole point of BL is to provide a wonderful love story, and in that, TharnType 2 provides plenty.Let's start from the obvious point - we rarely get to see a story about a couple AFTER they have gotten together. In that respect, there isn't a lot to compare it to (I can only think of SOTUS 2 and Together With Me 2). But from what we can see, there are going to be issues with work, family, communication and trust. That is completely accurate, so to those who would want Tharn and Type to magically mature beyond what you see is next to impossible. Tharn does have issues with jealousy and Type does have problems communicating openly with Tharn, especially about work. But, let's remember that they are around 26 years old, so they learn and try to do better. They are especially lucky because they have a great support system too.
Techno was especially hilarious this season, and Champ and Thanya were great additions to their team who stepped up. Dr. Khunpol was a cutie who showed us that romance can move at the pace of an iceberg but can still work out. And lastly, Phu and Cir were a fun couple with a completely different relationship to Tharn and Type, so they add more than just being the neighbors. I hope that any young relationship could have as many supporters as Tharn and Type had - success is all but guaranteed. Even Fiat ended up being a villain with wounds that we could understand and pity (unlike Lhong), and I was happy for him in the end.
The acting, especially by Gulf, is so much better, and all the proof you need is Type's scene on the beach. All I can say is WOW. There is also no denying the chemistry between Mew and Gulf, and when you see them together on screen, you can feel their love for each other. The looks, the way their bodies respond - it's almost like they are completely relaxed, like a couple that has been together for seven years would.
Could things be better in the story? Sure. Am I happy with what I got? Absolutely. If you are rooting for Tharn and Type, and are willing to go through their ups and downs with them, then this show will pay off for you. I liked it a lot, and I will miss Tharn and Type, but especially Mew and Gulf together immensely.

I Liked it but
over it was cute mewgulf never let you down when together, but the over all side couples where way to much, it was cute for the 1st two eps but than i got sick of seeing so much of the side couples I wanted to stop watching all together but i kept watching and i love types growth all around. The kid that leo was in love with was cute with leo but him not getting a hint when it came to type made me so mad like i couldn't stand him and it made me want to just gave up on the show. but i pushed thou and watching how type handle it made me so proud of him and happy that it showed how long him came from season 1 tell now.I hope everyone that watched stick thought tell the end cause over all it a great series with a few draw backs,

It hurts to close TT chapter for good... but they deserve a HEA
Tharntype SS1 will forever be an absolute favorite. It will go down in my list as the best in the Thai Bl as of this moment, despite some others has better storyline and cinematography. There is just about TT that really catches you and will never let go. There is this feeling of wanting to rewatch until you got your fill. And I indeed watched it for the nth time. It made me hang up and stop me from watching another BL until I'm already past my fill of it. Not to mention the overall cast of SS1 was perfection. I would never imagine any other actors playing the roles other than what was given to us.Setting aside the gushing for the previous season, I'll lay out what I feel for this current season. SS1 is the storyline that makes me fall in love with TT, but season 2 is the one that made me feel it all. I've only cried once while watching SS1 for the first time and it was on Episode 11. TT SS1 gets better every time you rewatched it. But when it comes to SS2, I cried with Type on his first break down on Episode 7, my heart clenched when they fight on Episode 10, I bawl my eyes when Type thought Tharn finally give up on him on Episode 11, and finally... I cried the whole time especially on their vows in the bedroom in the finale.
TT SS2 gives me the vibes of adult life. It gives the audience a sense of maturity that the characters obtain for seven years while retaining a large of certain aspects they possessed in the prior season. There are a lot of past insecurities, fears, and issues that were brought back to be tackled in this season. And I loved it. It hit close to home. For there are a lot of issues we have that we indeed buried for the sake of moving forward. But those issues remain in the deepest recess of our mind. It's there... lurking... waiting for the trigger to come and it will explode.
That's what happened with TT. Tharn's issue, fears, and insecurities were never completely closed and it haunts him the entire season 2. While Type's one might have its ending in the prior season, but he never had the same feeling of abandonment Tharn had felt when they break up on Ep 11 SS1. He knows that it was just a fake break up. He knows that he is doing it for Tharn's sake. There is a sense of awareness there so he didn't felt what Tharn had felt.
However, on SS2 Ep 11, it was his turn. And it was not just for the sake of him going through the same thing. It is essential... for we know that even if Type loves Tharn more than he will ever admit... there are still times that he sometimes took for granted Tharn's emotions just because he knows Tharn loves him so much. But in that scene, we can see Type's deepest and darkest moments. What he fears the most is when Tharn finally gives up. That there is a nagging feeling inside him that there might be a time that Tharn would finally get enough. And Type couldn't live with it.
Because before this, Type was at the edge of accepting marriage with Tharn in the first place. He was so ready to give in... but he will do that for the sake of making Tharn happy. For giving Tharn what he wants. Before that scene, he entertains the notion of marriage but he still has doubts. However, in that breakdown moment and after that, Type realizes he badly wanted it too. He wanted to tie Tharn with him as much as Tharn wanted it in the first place.
SS2 has a lot of shortcomings. Ep8 and 9 were my least favorite of all... but I will give this to Tharntype for always pulling me back on track. Mew and Gulf did a superb job with SS2. Type was the star obviously as it centered on him... however Tharn has given the feeling of insecurity that is really relatable. And of course who doesn't want someone who is willing to wait for you whatever it costs? Tharn might be a very flawed character and somewhat manipulative... but those characteristic makes him tangible and human. That despite his flaws, he could overcome all of them because one thing is more powerful than any of them: It is his love for Type. He was a selfish person and slightly spoiled, but he can also be understanding and loving all at the same time. A partner that someone like Type deserves.
Oh for Type... I don't know how to start. I don't think I have seen other Thai BL leads (let's put Chinese BL leads on the side for now... they have a different tier of their own) who are as multifaceted as Type is. The character development is absolutely phenomenal. He made me cry, he made me smile, he made me understand, he made me relate and of course, he made me proud. As someone who follows 2 seasons closely, I commend Gulf for giving us the perfect Type. The previously extremely flawed, harsh, and unreasonable anti-hero to an adult who values communication and loved his gay boyfriend to a great length, ready to marry him with a promise of forever.
Never once I compared the plotline of SS1 and SS2, and that's maybe the reason why I both adore the two seasons. I find the SS2 as a different entity and distinct from its predecessor. It gives me a majority of what I need to close TT's chapter so I'm could conclude I am satisfied. However, I believe we should have got TT's marriage. The special episode, should just be their after wedding/honeymoon scenes and maybe there old age relationship situation. But I'm also not sure if it is fine to show in Thai national tv a LGBT marriage though, I wonder.
Oh the box set... it's a different story (eye roll). There are a lot of scenes not just the NC ones that feels cut abruptly and I'm pretty sure will be in that boxset compilation. I bought the SS1 despite getting all the lovely scenes in the series itself. I do that because I wanted a memory of TT for my own. I would still be buying the SS2 boxset if only they do the same thing... but despite my love for TT... I will not. I just can't condone this kind of marketing. Yet I will be buying the special episode... damn marketing and all. I just have to see their wedding. TT has been through a lot and I don't know if I can move forward if I couldn't see that wedding they deserve.
Overall... it is hard to close a chapter of a favorite show but it is a must. Nothing is infinite in this world. But TT will forever be a good memory to look back to.
For those who didn't enjoy SS1 in the first place, I think you will also not find this one suitable with your taste.
Do yourself a favor and just watch what you love. Life is too short to spend it jumping on hate truck. If you don't like it, drop it. It is for your own good too. Hate watching it bad for your health.

Story - 10/10
The story line is well done and well written. It will invoke a lot of emotions out of you. The writers will make you angry and laugh and be sad. The romance is one of the best. It's different from a lot of other bl dramas because they tackle really hard topics and when I was watching I wanted them not too but it is written so well that it made the show even better.
Acting/Cast - 10/10
Can I rate this 12/10 because the actors were all amazing. Chemistry was so brilliant that I was like whoever cast these actors did God's work. It was so beautiful to watch actors so natural with each other.
Music- 10/10
Just perfect, the right songs and instrumentals were used to fit the mood of the scenes.
Rewatch Value - 10/10
I enjoyed this so much that I had already re-watched it as I waited for the finale episode to air and I can say it was even better the second time round. So,yes the rewatch is on a 1000
Overall - 10/10
Overall, I enjoyed this show a lot, it was fun to watch, I replayed a lot of scenes and I can see myself re-watching this over and over again because it was so good.
Do I recommend this, hells yes, it's worth it. You will not regret giving this a go.
Please I beg to the director who produced this drama .... Please make another BL project with the same actor of tharntype ... We want see the main actor tharntype more drama BL project đđđđđ

WORTH THE WAIT!!!
this is my first ever review and im so glad its for this show.MewGulf made me fall head over heels for tharn and type in season 1. Albeit, i admit that the first three episodes of season 1 had my skin crawling but it was so worth pushing through and completing it. I had waited weeks for season 2 to finish and i am not in the least bit disappointed.
ive seen alot of negative reviews about this and what most people need to understand is that this is a drama. and even in a realistic relationship - jealousy and miscommunication is very common.
now for my review-
( SPOILERS AHEAD):
the show started of slow paced and eased its way into the story line which is good compared to how fast paced season 1 was. This season showed serious development in tharn and types relationship. Type was ALOT calmer (ofcourse still hot headed at times - but thats just type) and he started to think through his actions -- obviously, the situations that set him off and brought back the hot-headed, fowl-mouthed type is when tharn is involved. Personally, i believe while tharn and type need to step back and think things through properly when it involves their relationship; their impulsiveness towards each other stems from the fact that they cant bear to lose each other. As far as tharn is concerned- he learned to deal with types mood swings alot better. the bad aspect is that their relationship is dependent and a little toxic BUT THIS IS JUST FOR ENTERTAINMENT and their cuteness and chemistry make up for everything.
The supporting characters made this show fun to watch. i especially loved phugun and P'Cir relationship which was cute and sweet.
And for our little villian - if we can even call him that - fiat, honestly i grew to understand him and feel sorry for him. While what he did to tharn and type was obviously wrong and made me want to cut his head off, you come to understand that hes still a immature kid who was acting out because he wanted to be loved back by his crush (Leo).
the music , like the first season, was AMAZING!!! this series has by far some of the best OSTs.
REWATCH VALUE is a definite 1000000/10 - MewGulf is too perfect to pass up on.
Overall i thoroughly enjoyed watching this show and would recommend it for everyone who loves steamy kisses, cute jealousy, drama and flawed characters that make you laugh and cry with them. All Actors/ Actresses brought their "A game" and made me fall inlove with their characters. I love this show so much and will definitely miss TharnType.

I decided to write a Review on why I liked it
So instead of writing a comment I decided to write a Review so that you guys know why I liked it and some people didnt.First of all I have read the second novel and I hated the novel, you know why loved the series and hated the novel because the series changed many things that made me unable to sleep for 3 days after reading the novel. Seriously If they made the novel into the series this review would be 1.5 â (and the 1.5 would just be because of mewgulf).
Now how was it different...
â Characters
There wasnt Leo, Phu, Cirrus, Khui, Seo in the storyline (not sure about Dr. Khun -don't want to read THAT again)
Ill summarize the novel here to distinguish the differences:
In the novel Fiat is shit because he is a shit he didnt kiss Type because he wanted to awaken feelings but to create differences coz he saw Tharn in the parking lot. After which Tharn verbally abused Type called him sult, cheater and basically degraded him (according to translation)ăso glad it was diluted ă. Then Type convinced Kalenga to seduce Fiat (he did a excellent job so good that Techno was so jealous and refused to talk to him) and bring him to a suite whereby Type, No, Kalenga and Fiat's friends surrounded a bound and blindfolded Fiat and made the atmosphere like that Fiat was going to be gangraped and recorded his confession so that he wont interfere again and left Fiat in the hands on his "friends" all of whom then had sex (raped?) Fiat and also recorded it so that Fiat can still maintain sexual relations with them through blackmail. ăWas so glad this got scraped ăalso the one that took care of Type when he was sick and whom Fiat thought was Type's secret lover was Tar in the novel.
How the series did a better Job
-Basically the series removed all the parts that were contradictory to a persons character like Type and Tar were molested so making Fiat go through the same thing wouldn't be right . They also introduced secondary couples and Characters like Cirrus and Phu, Champ and Khun and Seo and Khui (I laughed so hard when a disclaimer showed up stating it wasn't a recommended behaviour when Khui was eavesdropping on Tharn and Type through a pipe). The series also highlighted the characters seven years by making them so lovey dovey plus I think the reason other characters didnt had a kiss scene because they had to complete with tharntype kisses đđ.
Now the reason the story went the way it went because they followed the novels storyline, Tharn and Type the series actually follows the novels to the T for example the first season was so inline with the novel that when you read the novel those you who have hated Type will see the reason for his behaviour like why he agreed to sleep with Tharn or why he abused the katoeys and how he realised his feelings for Tharn (I'll spoil this one.... so in the novel after Tharn agreed to Types sex buddy agreement .. they had sex multiple times and after each times Tharn got up and did his job or went to sleep on his own bed instead of cuddling and spooning with Type all this made Type realised that he cant get what he needs from Tharn (love and attention) by just being his sex buddy coz by thenTharn was a large part of Type's life so when he went to that girl's room when they were about to kiss he was seeing Tharns face that's when he realised he cant do it).
So by revising the novel they came up with this story which is the better version.
Overall if a person who read the novel would love this series and the people who didnt like this series I urge you to read the novel
P.s any comments or clarification needed Plz look for my comment in the comment section.
Pss. I'll stand by my scores

So far itâs boring
It was supposed to be Tharn and Type's 7 years of love but up until the 6th episode, there's nothing much progress on their storyline. It's already half of the whole season ffs! A bit disappointing that they decide to introduce many irrelevant new characters and side pairings and focus on them too much. IMHO, Tharn and Type lack airtime and their storyline lacks impact and plot. I was so looking forward for the season 2 coz I thought it will be better than the first one but tbh, I was disappointed. No more looking forward for the next episode coz I know it will be disappointing again. Will continue to watch for the sake of Season 1 actors but I hope the storyline will turn for a better on the second half. Please don't disappoint me again. Was this review helpful to you?
This is terrible! What happened?
The other reviews have rated this a 10, which makes my jaw hit the floor. I don't get it. Is it loyalty to the actors or something? This is the most boring and passionless BL I've ever seen. The last episode (4) was discussion about the job performance of Thorn's secretary, shoe shopping, and that's pretty much it. Oh, and there's some guy who likes a guy who works at a cafe and they talk about fake getting lost for a few minutes.
The only noteworthy thing that happened is that after 7 years together, Type is jealous because his GAY boyfriend talked to a woman.
Who wrote this? How did one of the most zany and entertaining BLs we've had descend into something this totally lacking in life?
I like Mew and Gulf, but they're just phoning it in. Mew is sexy, period, but other than that the chemistry of the first season is gone. I guess it needed the power struggle between them, because here Tharn is just whipped and walks around saying "sorry" and "yes, dear" even though he's never in the wrong.
There's a love scene in the first ep that is LOL bad - a pure ripoff of a scene in a famous movie about a ship that sinks, which is an apt metaphor for this disaster.
The directing, cinematography, editing, set and costume design are all adequate but thorougly uninspired. Can we get Lhong back? At least then something interesting might happen.
I can only give the story a 1, because there isn't one. Rewatch value also gets a 1 because you'd have to hold a gun to my head to get me to rewatch any of this, and even then I'd have to think about it.

The storyline, I loved it. I mean I know there's a book, I just wish it was translated in English since reading has more details in comparison to watching . The way it played out, with Type having this angry look almost all the time and Tharn always smiling, like wow! Great acting. I can't imagine anyone else playing Tharn. I just cannot! This role really suits him y lie. The chemistry between these two is a match made in heaven.
I almost didn't watch the 7 Years Of Love series because of the reviews. ( Why I take them to heart, I will never know)! A few dwelt so much on Type's immaturity still on the second season which does not make sense considering they've been together for 7 years. But on watching it, it was not as bad as I thought. Type was just being Type. I mean, it's hard to change who you are, though I was happy to see he still got jealous and how much he loved Tharn. He was also really able to control his feelings when his boss was giving him a hard time, something he couldn't do as seen in the first series. he'd get really angry and act out.
Oh, the love scenes, out of this world. Honestly, it's what pulled me to this series. It looked so real, one would think they are a real couple in real life. Enough about these two, I could write a whole book.
Moving on to another of my best actor, after Tharn and Type is Techno. This man made me laugh each time he opened his mouth. He was damn funny and at times it felt forced but I don't care. He made the show lively! I googled him and he's done a few support roles and I think 1 or 2 main, but it would be great to have him play a main role in a bl drama.
The other supporting casts did not disappoint as well and I'm happy they got enough airplay that we got to see their relationships develop.
The music, I gave it an 8, great music to listen to even if you're not watching the drama.
I'd watch it again and again and again until I get bored (I wonder if that day will ever come)!

TharnType 2: 7 Years of I Canât Even
This was basically fan service. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but...I donât get this author's writing and I never will. I donât understand how she can consistently produce some of my favorite BL couples (AePete) and my least favorite - sometimes in the same series, sometimes in the same couple. Itâs exhausting.
I had serious issues with TharnType but I do like MewGulfâs chemistry. Itâs not the actorsâ fault the story failed them. TT2 did it again, only with kidnapping and abuse instead of rape. *sigh*
TT2 also gave me Champ & Doc whom I adored, and hit us up with 3+ superfluous other couples. Like LBC and LBC2 the pacing in TT2 was uneven, the pairs confusing, and the side dishes with the most chemistry were given the least complexity and screen time. It was ultimately unsatisfying.

More like 7 days.
The characters have not changed at all. Everyone is still so damn toxic to each other. 7 years together and they still donât trust their partner. When jealousy becomes the main plot once again, it shows how one-dimensional the love between TharnType actually is.
The only non-toxic characters are PâCir and Phu. They truly trust each other and it was a true relief whenever they had screen-time. Also the Family of Tharn is very non-toxic. The way they also side with Type â I love it.
The fact that Tharnâs family is so lovingly but then thereâs Tharn being toxic af is kinda paradox, but nvm.
If you ship TharnType, then thereâs lots of fan-service and probably also why people love it so much.
I never shipped them tho, so I really enjoyed their âbreakupâ.

Much better than the reviews may make it seem to be!
I'm a bit late to the game of watching TharnType but wanted to leave my thoughts anyways.First and foremost I personally think that the most important thing to keep in mind when watching all type of drama is that it is fiction. That goes without a say for BL too.
Now I'll continue this review from the standpoint of it being a fictional story and not how true to reality it may be. Some elements tend to have to happen to keep the story going and not to "dry out", so the viewers don't get bored. I think that there's a fine line between too much of these "need to happen" elements and realistic elements and that's where the tricky bit comes to play when making a good storyline.
In the case of TharnType2 the production team managed to keep this balance fairly well. There sure was some questionable scenes and a question mark surrounding communication between the main characters after being together for so long but I find those parts needed to make the whole 12 ep season working. If there wasn't this lack of communication between the main characters, there wouldn't have been much left to develop throughout the series.
My favourite part of the series was when Type decided to get ordained. That's a beautiful way of him trying to console for his parents loss of not being able to grant them grandchildren. (Since I've no experience or knowledge about Buddhism and the process of how to become a monk I'll leave it as this.) And Tharn accepting it without questioning it, waiting for him on the "other side" is just the sweetest.
To the contrary of the good there's one scene that really bugged me. It's the scene when you see the musicians preforming during Thorn's and Am's wedding. The visuals of what the musicians were playing didn't match at all with what I was hearing but at the same time it looked like the musicians actually knew what they were doing. So my question is, is it just that the synchronisation between the recording and the visuals are non-existing or could it have been that no one in the production team had done some research about how it looks like when Pachebell's canon in D is performed by live musicians? (I'm a violist and have played this piece before.)
I really liked the cast so there's not much for me to say about that.
And for the soundtrack I didn't mind it. A wee bit repetitive after a while but nothing much. A cute one.
I enjoyed watching both season 1 and season 2 but think I have to go with season 2 being my favourite. The story felt a bit more thought through and less rough.
This is my first review and English is not my first language so hope you can see past that and make something out of what's said above :)
