When/How/Because of Who did you discover Asian Dramas?

While searching for anime (which I hardly even watch anymore), I saw Great Teacher Onizuka listed. I've seen the anime first but I came across this one thinking these were new specials being uploaded to only realize this is a live action version, so I watched it to see what the live is like and I was blown away. Then I noticed another series (Papa to Musume no Nanokakan) that was being uploaded that I didn't recognize, I checked that and it was live action but there was a certain actress that caught my eye which was Yui Aragaki, even though I wasn't looking for her roles directly, I came across more Jdrama's which she is in by accident then I came to like everything she has done in terms of searching for more of her after that (I've seen everything she has done so far, except for the newest stuff). But after seeing tons more Jdrama since then, Erika Toda is my very favorite though. <3

Myself with YouTube's help. I managed to stumble across Snow White/Taste Sweet Love (Kdrama) back in 2006. But I don't think I really got hooked on dramas until watching Full House, which was the 2nd drama I watched.

Well, my friend told me to watch Liar Game and that is the first drama that i've watched. then i noticed Erika Toda after i watched the first season i fallen in loved with her. hahahaha so i watched most of her dramas and now im a drama addict :))

My Japanese grandmother. Thanks to her, I started watching Japanese dramas ever since I was about seven years old (thank you obachan). Then back in 2007, I started watching Korean and Taiwanese dramas. Japanese still my favourite though (^_^)

My sister started to watch "You're Beautiful" because she was subscribed to some girl on youtube.(She made MV's of Kingdom Hearts games) And one day she uploaded an MV of "You're Beautiful" so my sister then started to watch it. I was 14 back then so I was always bothering my sister lOL so I saw her watching it... and then continued to see it with her! Then from there I watched other dramas because I really liked how korean dramas are~
