a friend showed Drama to my noona, and she then to me. i watched first Boys before flowers, Held on and watched you´re beautiful. all actors and also the Storys and acting caught me ^^
We used to have a channel called AZN TV. One day it was playing a Korean drama and I loved it! From then on I would watch kdramas. My friend, however, got me into Jdramas. He said I had to check out Hana Yori Dango and of course I did. Probably one of my favorite Jdramas.
I grew up with dramas.
I actually got myself into dramas. I was browsing Hulu, looking for something to watch, and saw Playful Kiss being featured on the homepage. I started watching it out of curiosity, and was surprised to actually love it. After that, I started browsing the Korean Drama section and BOOM!! My addiction began xD
Myself. I finished an anime series and was I was stuck on what to watch next so I tried out a j-drama. My Boss, My Hero was my first drama and it will always be a personal favourite. From when I started watching drama, I haven't marathoned an anime since although I watch the airing ones.
HMM... One fine day, a friend of mine told me that I just HAD to watch Death Note. I wasn't really into anime. (Apart from the ones I had watched as a child. Sailor Moon, DBZ, etc.) When I searched it up I saw that there was also a Manga, and even though this isn't really the same, I'm always one to "read the book before I watch the (usually) horrid movie/drama" I hadn't ever read manga before, so yeah, I was like 'whut'. Before manga I really hated books with pictures, they just seemed distracting and pointless. Manga sort of changed that for me. So, after reading death note I got... ADDICTED to manga. The second one that I read was Hana Yori Dango. I googled it so I could also watch the anime when I came across the drama version. After watching it I just had to watch the Korean version. And the rest is HISTORY. *^_^*

Boys Over Flowers (Lee Min Ho)
My roommate in college. :)

When we first met, we bonded over our love of anime and Jrock. Then she showed me some of her favorite Jdramas. She's also responsible for my username. :D
Personnaly my sister read Fan-fiction and with it she listened K-pop. I begin to listen with her and I listen accross a OST ... A OST of the drama Fated to loive you ! Good memoriiiiiies Sorry for my broken English
I'd say you should first ask for a recommendation. Ask someone to recommend you a drama of a genre you like (romance, mystery, horror, comedy, melodrama, ...) and preferably one that is short and sweet.

Seriously, pick a short drama first. There are several mini-dramas around (also called: Drama Specials).

I wish I'd done this when I first started. My first drama was very long and sooooooo confusing to my newbie mind.
ohh it's shame ! to bad ! what was your fisrt drama ?
"Goong"! I should have started with a simple Jdrama first and then slowly work my way into Korean Dramas. But it's okay. I survived! :P
Oww I recently watch it !! I love the actress Yoon Eun Hye, I think she's one of the best korean actress
