Iijima Ai was a former Japanese AV actress and talent from Koto-ku, Tokyo. She dropped out of Takinogawa Girls' Academy High School.

Before and after graduating from junior high school, she was repeatedly running away from home, and after a short time of cohabitating with her boyfriend, she was scouted to work as a hostess in Roppongi. In 1992 she became an AV actress.

In 1993, she made her debut as a singer with "Naisho DE Ai! Ai!".

Around 1994, she retired as an AV actress.

On December 24, 2008, Iijima's relative found her dead in her room at Shibuya Info's Tower in Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. After that, investigations revealed that it had been about a week since her death. Her estimated death date is believed to be around December 17, counting from the date of discovery, December 24. She died 36 years old.

On February 4, 2009, the results of a pathological examination by the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Inspectorate were announced, and it was found that the cause of death was pneumonia. Edit Biography
