*SPOILER ALERT*Why would she believe he’s dead? She knows everyone at the wedding was fake and he was clearly some kind of con artist or something. She was already dumb for being so gullible with him in the first place (I mean, we all saw his being fake a mile coming) especially being in her line of work AND after having already been screwed over, even ending up in jail. She’s supposed to be smart (got into college on her own and all that), but as far as I can tell she’s way too naive and gullible to be competent. Obviously dude faked his death you idiot. The next episode better start with her thinking that way or I’m gonna be annoyed.
I seriously don’t get why everyone’s against Trash being the husband. Chil Bong is sweet and all but the depth of her relationship with Trash can’t be ignored. I don’t see ANYONE overcoming that. The only way they don’t end up together is if Trash ends up not wanting to be with her. There’s no way she’d choose anyone else in my opinion. Also, it’s a little too obvious that everyone would want her to pick Chil Bong because of his personality and all that. I think I’d actually be disappointed if it turned out that way. Otherwise why bother hiding who the husband is at all?
We’re almost to the end of this season and Chuxia is still getting defensive the moment Qilu opens his mouth. I’m seriously over it. She isn’t even as confrontational with those two stuck up brats from Class A as she is with him, even though she KNOWS he’s not her enemy. Gah!It’s about doggone time she came to her senses. Looks like that might finally be happening.
Back to being annoying. We were finally making some progress with the storyline but now we’re back to dealing with boring, unnecessary, unrelated nonsense. What’s the point of introducing an entirely new character now? As usual, the logic in this drama is nonexistent but digressing from the main storyline only makes it all the more aggravating.
I seriously don’t understand why Class B wouldn’t speak up and tell the principal they weren’t the ones doing the bullying, and never have been. I understand not wanting to tattle and also that they’re afraid of even harsher repercussions from Class A but 1) they could have simply refused to say who the real bullies were (let the damn teachers figure it out, plus Class A can’t say they sold them out), and 2) at some point they need to stand up for themselves and as it being the whole class they should have stood strong together. Yes Class A had powerful parents but I doubt all of Class B’s parents would let that shit go.
I find it rather presumptuous of Anthony to claim to be Jin Jin’s guardian and how could he not even call Ji Won, knowing how close they are and that he’s even staying with her. I was VERY turned off by his behavior. I get that he likes her but the way he acted was just not okay. I’m liking his character less and less. I get why Ji Won’s gun shy about his feelings for her after what happened with his fiancé and with the current guy in question being his brother and all. I also understand why he’d rather play it safe with their friendship, although he can’t handle being around her to watch her and Anthony get together. His behavior totally makes sense to me - not that it’s right, don’t get me wrong.
That disgusting as hell Chief Surgeon, Dr. Han, does ONE decent thing after all the shitty things he’s already done - and mind you, he only does it out of guilt since that patient is in a coma BECAUSE of his mistake - and that nurse acts like he’s totally redeemed himself? I’m so disgusted! It’s like that hospital collects the shittiest, most inhumane “doctors” (I can’t even consider the true doctors) in one place just to make money. The fact that there really are people and places like that in the world only makes me more aggravated. Still, I just can’t seem to stop watching! LOL!
I finally liked Ke Ai’s hair for the first time in this episode. It’s right after the second ML’s failed confession attempt, when she got home and was updating her blog. Yes, I’m saying she looked her best going to bed lol, with her hair down and wavy (not curly) and bangs parted. So much so that I took the time to get on here and comment on it lol. I hate how these dramas more often than not completely fail at styling their female leads. They almost always end up looking frumpy and shapeless. So frustrating.
Okay so I think I simply don’t jive well with the FL actress, Amber An. My problem isn’t really with the character, it’s with her. First, (and I’m not just trying tor hate or be mean, I’m just being honest) her face just freaking annoys me. Like it’s literally hard to look at her directly and not cringe. First it was the glasses she wore in high school that absolutely did not suit her face, then it was that curly hair that simply doesn’t complement her facial features. Second, her facial expressions are non-existent. She continually had this bland affect that was not intentional or a part of her role. Which leads me to my third issue - her acting was horrible! OMG there was that one eye roll she tried to do where it looked like her eyes just got stuck that way. I can’t think of any reason why a director wouldn’t do a retake of that scene other than it being the best they could get out of her, which is scary. All of the other actors seemed to naturally fall into their roles, making her inability to do so even more noticeable and painful to watch. I don’t see how she won the lead role in this drama. Her little sidekick friend (played by Ariel Chiapas, I believe??) would have done 100 times better in my opinion. There are so many other actresses that would have been better.
Argh! The timing of the subtitles for this episode on Amazon was so far off that it made it almost impossible to watch! So annoying. I can’t even properly follow what’s happening.
Okay, that was the steamiest, best and longest love scene I’ve seen to date in ANY kdrama. Shoot in any ASIAN drama (and I’ve seen an ungodly number of them at this point LOL). Holy cow! That was FREAKIN AWESOME! No nudity was necessary for it to be hot as hell.
REWATCH UPDATE:Let me just say that l, at the VERY LEAST, Dae Gu would N-E-V-E-R work under me again had I been his team leader. Fuck that. He should have already been benched long before for his disrespectful attitude and refusal to work as a team long before that fight even occurred. His actions almost left someone struggling for her life! How he didn’t get demoted or kicked out I’ll never understand, even with the chief backing him.*************Only just started this episode and I’m already super annoyed with Soo Sun! She always immediately deflects the blame like an immature child! She never just accepts responsibility for her mistakes. It’s such a turnoff. Just like the situation with the knife left on the desk, it doesn’t matter who put it there. What was important was that she was completely unaware that it had been left there because she didn’t do her job and properly ensure such items weren’t present. While questioning that suspect that area was HER responsibility.—-UGH! I get why Soo Sun didn’t speak up at that particular moment to say most of what Dae Gu was being blamed for was actually her doing (tensions were already high so it would have made things worse) but she should have immediately told the team leader at least. And Dae Gu, well, I’ll be honest. He’s completely irrational because he thinks Pan Seok is corrupt and the reason for his mother’s death. So even though he was over the top I can’t truly be mad at him. The kid watched his mother die right before his eyes. That entire situation would have been like a kick to the gut. Hopefully he sees that his behavior and lack of empathy and professionalism could have led to the same thing happening to that victim as it had with his mother. If he does realize that would explain his outbreak as well. — —OMG that restaurant lady was grosssssss! So nasty sticking her hands in that man’s food! And so rude! I wanted to slap her myself. And what is it with school-aged kids in K-dramas? Are the kids there really such damn bad little asses? — —-This episode was hilarious too, by the way.
Dae Gu’s attitude is frustrating but Soo Sun’s wrecklessness, pettiness and idiocy is seriously annoying. It’s like she never grew out of her high school behavior even though it’s 11 years later. How do you make the decision to put someone in clear danger, using her as bait, then not follow through with being diligent in protecting her. Fine, Dae Gu maintained his shitty attitude and chose to leave but SHE’s the one who made the decision to pursue the case and get evidence, so she should have continued to protect her even without him. Had Dae Gu not figured things out and run back she’d have been long gone and would only find out what happened the following day. And this taking personal calls while actively on duty just flat out pissesme off. It’s so irresponsible. If you’re at the station or completely off duty fine but, at the very least she should have checked in with the victim before leaving and made her aware they were calling it a day. I get that it’s a drama and all but it’s so frustrating constantly watching these scenarios were idiot, irresponsible and immature cops make life-endangering mistakes, even if only for our entertainment. Cops at that level should never be out in the field, especially completely unsupervised.UPDATE:I’m currently rewatching this drama and this episode STILL pisses me off. Dae Gu’s 100% certainty is a complete fallacy as always is when dealing in probabilities, which should be his first clue that his arrogance is a problem. He also never factored in his reasoning that they had directly provoked the stalker earlier that day so of course there’d be a difference in his trending behavior. But still, that chick is the worst police officer (and a detective no less) I’ve seen portrayed. The fact that she even got mad that she got a ticket when she was flat out and KNOWINGLY breaking the law by talking on the phone while her vehicle was in operation had already ticked me off before this whole stalker situation even began. You’re a brand new policed officer, who’s already been arrested once just days prior, and you’re perfectly fine breaking traffic laws! Ughhhhhhhh!!!!!
Stupid. Stupid. Stupid! Why would she give anyone the disc drive?!?! Especially someone working in that damn hospital. What an absolute moron. Clearly the male lead was referring to himself as her medical reference source. He’s the one who gave the darn thing to her! WHY would she GIVE IT to another doctor?! Based on her past actions I’m sure she didn’t even make a copy first; hopefully I’m wrong. I’m sure the male lead must have though. Here’s to hoping. Either way it’s one thing for her to show the other doctor the data for feedback but to give it to him?! Argh! Even if he’s trustworthy she’s a fool. The last place that needs to go is back into the hospital.
